Battery Operated Rc Cars Vs Nitro Remote Control Cars

Most people who run any kind of RC car already know the ups and downs of running the various types of vehicles. There are some different aspects and points to consider when you are determining whether to run battery operated or nitro remote control cars.

Nitro remote control cars are fully customizable from interior to exterior. If you want to listen to your favorite music while you are driving your RC car, you can add such an accessory that will accommodate your MP3 player, such as a docking station made to fit inside your car. The sound on this little accessory is amazing, you will be quite surprised when you hook it up and start to play it.

Battery operated RC cars already suck enough batteries, you are not going to want to add something that will draw more of your battery juice unnecessarily by adding an MP3 player into the mix. Aside from that, your battery operated RC car will not have the room or the ability to carry the amp and docking station needed to hear your favorite music. On top of that, the MP3 player will probably weigh your car down, even more than all of those batteries you have to keep filling it with.

Nitro remote control cars are the fastest types of RC cars available for purchase today. Some of these vehicles can run at top speeds of 80 miles per hour, as fast as a full sized car. The battery operated RC car may go quickly, but not even 5 mph, and only in short bursts, or you are going to wear out your batteries and have to replace them again.

While nitro remote control cars can be expensive to purchase, when you consider the differences between them and your basic battery operated RC car, there really is no fair comparison. A battery operated model may be inexpensive; however, if you want to drive it all of the time, you are going to go through a great deal of money in batteries, not to mention, you are out of commission while the batteries charge or until you can purchase some fresh ones.

Nitro RC car parts are much more costly than battery operated car parts. Of course, if you were to wreck your battery operated RC car, you would probably not bother fixing it, since you probably did not spend a great deal of money on it in the first place. Although the parts are going to cost you a fair bit of money, the parts for the nitro RC cars are plentiful and there are accessories for almost anything you can think of. There is no time like the present to take the plunge and purchase your first RC car that runs on fuel.
